French Lace Takes Center Stage
Exhibitor Oğuz Kunt highlighted the growing popularity of French lace, embroidered fabrics, and more elaborate embroidery-hoop designs.
“We expect this trend to continue next year. In İzmir, however, simpler designs are generally preferred. Leading companies in our country are also focusing on French lace. This fair has been extremely important to us since its inception. It continues to develop and grow every year, allowing us to establish closer relationships and meet with our customers from both Türkiye and abroad,” Kunt said.
“We Will Continue to Participate in the Fair”
Cemal Aca, noting that their products attract considerable interest both in Türkiye and internationally, said:
“We believe our lace products will continue to be popular in 2027. In particular, our lace designs featuring stone embellishments are among the most sought-after products worldwide. We have participated in this fair since its very first edition, and we are extremely pleased to be part of it. There is strong demand for our products. I hope the fair will continue to develop and achieve even greater success in the coming years. As long as we remain in business, we will continue to participate.”
“We Support the Fair, and Its Continuity Is Very Important”
Commenting on the fabric and embellishment trends expected to stand out in 2027, Ünal Tunaboylu said:
“Large, pearlescent sequins are fashionable this year. Sequins have made a strong comeback. Those working in the industry, as well as women who follow fashion, are very familiar with this trend. Fringed and stone-embellished designs are also highly popular. Stone and bead embroidery on lace and tulle are among the preferred styles. In addition, plain fabrics are gaining prominence. As a company based in İzmir, we support the fair being held here. Ensuring its continuity is extremely important.”
“We Are Working on Three-Dimensional Accessories”
Exhibitor Foruzan Koçoğlu, who stated that they prefer lighter and softer color tones, explained:
“This year, we are focusing on three-dimensional flowers and metallic details in our accessory designs. We are developing accessories that create a three-dimensional effect. We have been participating in this fair for nine years. We are delighted to be part of the event and would like to thank everyone who has contributed to its organization.”
