Fashion Prime – 8th Textile, Ready-to-Wear Suppliers and Technologies Expo, organized by İZFAŞ under the hosting of İzmir Metropolitan Municipality, continues to welcome professional visitors from Türkiye and abroad while providing the first look at the fashion trends set to define 2026.
The eighth edition of Fashion Prime continues at Fuarizmir, bringing together professionals from across the textile and ready-to-wear industry. Alongside B2B meetings and new business opportunities, the opening day featured an impressive programme of fashion shows showcasing collections created entirely from fabrics supplied by exhibiting companies.
In addition to the opening ceremony runway presentation, three exclusive fashion shows introduced the latest fabric collections to industry professionals. Some garments were created live on the runway, with fabrics draped and pinned directly onto the models rather than being pre-stitched, demonstrating the creativity and versatility of the materials. Featuring premium lace and innovative fabrics, the collections also offered a preview of the key trends expected to shape the 2026 fashion season.
The Latest Collections Take to the Runway
The first two mixed-brand fashion shows, featuring collections from 16 exhibiting companies, were organized by fashion designer Erkan Yılmaz, with choreography by Akif Örük.
Renowned model Gizem Özdilli, together with models from Rönesans Agency, presented garments created from the fabrics of leading industry brands, attracting significant attention from visitors and fashion professionals alike.
The day's final runway presentation was choreographed by Serkan Duman and Gökhan Duman, featuring models from Duman Agency. With its dynamic staging and contemporary presentation, the show became one of the highlights of the opening day.
Throughout the day, hundreds of designs from exhibitors' 2026 collections were presented, offering visitors an exclusive first look at next season's fabric trends and innovations.
Industry Professionals Discover the Latest Innovations
Having welcomed more than 7,000 professional visitors from 38 countries in the previous edition, Fashion Prime once again attracted strong attendance on its opening day.
Reflecting İzmir's internationally recognized expertise in bridal gowns, eveningwear and groomwear, this year's edition places particular emphasis on fabrics and accessories for these specialist segments. Professional visitors had the opportunity to explore the latest innovations, ranging from advanced fabrics and materials to original design concepts, while establishing valuable business connections with exhibitors from Türkiye and abroad.
